Description
First in a set of illustrations featuring young wizards learning about their magical skills during the "Year of the Dragon".
Had a request to provide more detailed information about how I created or used elements in this illustration from Isbjorg of the "Realms of Fantasy" group:
-- The stock smoke and some of the rock texture was from CGTextures: [link] with others mashed up from my own photos and scans
-- Brushes: used mostly standard brushes from Photoshop CS5, but did experiment and modify hair brushes from the Goro's brushes collection for the dragon's mane.
