Update to my original illustration (Climbing/Dragonsong) for the 3rd (and final) time.
Some minor changes to the rocks; most of the revisions were focused on improving the lighting, which I hope was successful.

Vertebrates are tetrapods, not hexapods.
The wings are nothing else than transformed upper limbs due to evolution, not an additional 3rd pair of limbs.

Agreed -- on Earth, land-based vertebrates are defined as tetrapods, winged or not.
However, Anne McCaffrey chose to populate her fictional planet Pern with dragons (four legged 2 winged hexapods) rather than wyverns (four limbs -- two legs and two wings), and that's where this illustration takes some of its inspiration.
